Wadim Petunin- An illustrator and designer based out of Germany. Has done work for Lane Crawford, Fifth Black Media, Cacao Magazine and many more. His work resembles a minimalistic approach to a theme, breaking down the visuals to the core while mixing various techniques. I had a hard time picking an artist that I liked most because I loved so many of them. Petunin stuck out to me most because his work to me told a story just through a simple image. The piece I picked, I picked because it made me think out how we just step on and walk all over people, even when we do not realize that we are doing so. In a lot of his work he portrays the advantages we take of people and miss treat these people as well. To me his work speaks to me because to me the world needs a more visual representation as to how we can treat others and hopefully make them more aware.
